A Cardiff fighters’ gym with a history on the international stage.
An independent club at UFCC
Eagles Muay Thai
Eagles returned to Cardiff in late 2005 and has developed fighters who reached the top of the UK’s independent Muay Thai rankings, as well as former world champions.
Its fighters have included Luke Bar, who competed on Max Muay Thai and other Thai and Asian promotions, alongside Charlie Sikwa, Tanya Merret, Shaun Facey, Matt Sheedy, Joey Brincat, Steven “Jimpy” John, Ameen Alkilaney, Nathan Johnson and Lewis Long.
Lewis Long also trained with Eagles before focusing on MMA. The club’s training at UFCC continues that fighting tradition. See the timetable for Monday and Thursday sessions.
Eagles prices: £6 for one hour, £8 for two hours or more, or £50 a month for Eagles membership.
