Champions for Charity
FIGHT FOR SOMETHING.
White collar boxing with purpose. Train with champions and help charity.
In memory of Suzanne
Train for something bigger.
Champions for Charity was founded by Denzil Lawrence in 2017, in memory of his wife Suzanne, who died in 2016 following a brain haemorrhage / stroke.
The series gives people with little or no boxing experience a chance to train with championship coaches and raise funds for charity. Its original fundraising supported the Stroke Association, following Denzil’s work raising over £150,000 for Help for Heroes.
The programme has offered eight weeks of free training, covering fitness, cardio, weights, strength and conditioning alongside boxing. At the end of training, boxers are assessed and matched with an opponent of similar ability.
Previous events have included a fight-night vest, professional photography, VIP tables with a meal and standard standing tickets. Contact us for details of the next programme and its charity.
